It is a species that was declared locally extinct within Canada in the 1930s. There are now 96 swift fox living in rural Alberta. You can help! We are holding a fundraiser to collect money for the Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation to help the swift fox. There are three prize baskets to be won! Tickets are $1 each and will be for sale at noon hour in the plaza Monday, January 28 to Thursday, January 31. Students, come by and see the baskets! Bring a loonie to support this wonderful cause! 1. Thank you for everyone who submitted a book order. I will put that through today.
