1. We had a great time participating in the Terry Fox run today. As a class we did 232 laps = 116 km!

Information about the speaker: Mathieu Caron received his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University (Montreal, 1994) and obtained a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, 1997), specializing in space-based manipulator dynamics and control. He joined the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) in 1999 as a mission controller for the Mobile Servicing System. Until 2017, he has actively supported Canadarm2 and Dextre operations from the Johnson Space Center Mission Control Center in Houston, Texas, and from the CSA’s Space Operations Support Centre, as Mission Control Supervisor, Mission Operations Manager, and Operations & Training Manager. In May 2017, he became the CSA Supervisor for the ISS Payloads Operations Group.
